Stretch marks are common during pregnancy. It can appear on your abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, and breasts (2). And though moisturizing may not be able to completely prevent the appearance of these marks, it may help to some extend. So make sure you purchase a good moisturizer or anti-stretch marks cream. Apply all over your body twice a day, preferably soon after taking a shower when your skin is damp.
6. Start Taking Your Prenatal Vitamins Now

If you have been trying to get pregnant, then you must have started taking your vitamins long back. And if thats not the case, it is best to book an appointment with your doctor and get on it as soon as you can. Prenatal vitamins contain all the vitamins and nutrients that your baby needs including folic acid, calcium, and vitamin D that is important for the overall growth and development of your baby (3).
7. Download A Pregnancy App

Though you would be reading a lot of pregnancy books throughout the whole nine months, having an app will help guide you through your pregnancy with so much ease. Various pregnancy apps tell you your babys development week by week. It will also provide you daily tips on what you can do to stay healthy and happy during this time. So, do your own bit of research and download an app that you find to be the most efficient.
